About this role

KBF is built differently. By pairing an entrepreneurial mindset with deep technical experience, KBF is a trusted partner and recognized leader in tax, audit, and advisory services, providing a comprehensive range of solutions designed to support our clients’ growth and expansion.

Since day one, our growth has been rapid, requiring exceptional professionals that bring both technical skill and strategic vision to the table. Our culture combines the energy and flexibility of a start-up with the opportunity to develop and advance a career based on your strengths and interests.

KBF Advisory is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team.

This is a mid-level role for someone with at least 4–6 years of hands-on experience across paid media, CRM/marketing operations, and SEO who can execute and optimize multi-channel marketing programs with limited day-to-day oversight. You'll work closely with the Marketing Practice Director, Account Strategists, and other Strategists on the team to plan and run channel-level work across a portfolio of client accounts, and you'll be expected to both bring a point of view and execute on it, not just implement someone else's plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize day-to-day work across a portfolio of client accounts in paid media, SEO, and marketing operations, in close partnership with the Marketing Practice Director and Account Strategists.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising, and emerging channels such as OpenAI Ads.
  • Build and maintain CRM workflows, automations, and reporting inside HubSpot and/or Salesforce, partnering with clients' internal marketing and sales teams.
  • Lead SEO and AI-visibility strategy, including technical audits, keyword and topic research, and tracking brand presence in traditional and AI-driven search.
  • Manage sales engagement and prospecting tooling (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo) to support client demand-generation and outbound programs.
  • Translate campaign and CRM data into clear, actionable reporting and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communication using tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Basecamp.
  • Build and maintain client-facing reporting and dashboards (e.g., Agency Analytics, Google Data Studio / Looker Studio), turning campaign and CRM data into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative and Technology practices to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Stay current on platform changes, AI-driven marketing tools, and industry best practices, and share that knowledge with the broader team.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4–6 years of professional experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, or marketing operations. Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across at least two of: Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising, OpenAI Ads.
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Practical SEO experience, including familiarity with SEMrush, Ah refs, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Comfort working in project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Basecamp.
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms, specifically Apollo and ZoomInfo.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategy and results directly to clients.
  • A self-starter mindset, able to juggle multiple client workstreams and priorities with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, frequently shifting environment
  • Individuals must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Relevant Tools & Platforms Experience

Candidates don't need experience across every tool below. This reflects the range of platforms used across client accounts, and experience with some of them (not all) is what we're looking for.

  • CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce
  • Paid Media: Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising, OpenAI Ads
  • Project Management: Monday.com, Asana, Basecamp
  • Sales Engagement: Apollo, ZoomInfo
  • SEO / AI SEO: SEMrush, Ah refs, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager
  • Reporting & Analytics: Agency Analytics, Google Data Studio (Looker Studio), Polar Analytics

Preference will be given to candidates local to Portland, OR, who are able to work a hybrid schedule.
