THE ROLE

Interested in working for a fast-growing international retail company?

We are looking for a Senior Retail Analyst who is able to set priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently, has a background in Retail and is fluent in English. Within our retail team you will support the business with performance reporting, analysis, budgeting, setting up and calculate business cases, participate in checking invoices and collaborate with the other departments such as IT, Finance and Fulfilment. In this role you will report to the Director Retail.



\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for recurring business reporting (weekly and monthly) provided as input for leadership team.
• Perform in-depth performance analysis to signal areas for improvement, translated and followed by actionable recommendations
• Responsible for monthly reporting and support ad-hoc leadership team requests
• Play an important role within the budget process in which sales targets and underlying sales driver targets (KPI’s) are being set
• Preparing business cases on which business decision will be based by the Retail leadership team
• Working closely with finance in cash control/audit.
• General optimization of processes: invoice approvals/PO system, T&E reports, headcount overview
• Identify and work actively on projects to solve problems and takes an analytical approach to these
• Identify risks and savings potential as part of cost saving initiatives
• Other improvements of processes and flows

Main areas of work include:

• Business reporting, delivery and developing of business performance reports.
• Business analysis, implementing recommendations based on analysis and evaluation.
• Business cases, delivery business case model to drive business decisions.
• Budgeting, to deliver sales KPI’s.
• Business monthly closing and cost accruals.
• Business reporting
• Business payment service provider.
THE PROFILE:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
• 5-7 years of experience in a retail analyst capacity, and a strong exposure in the retail industry
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good understanding of IT systems, excellent MS office skills (especially Excel) and business intelligence tools
• Able to handle large amount data for analytics and visual analytics with Power BI, Power Query,
• Knowledge of finance and payment service providers is a plus
• You desire to work in an international highly demanding and growing business environment.
• You are hands-on and getting energized by delivering result
• Strong team player with excellent communications and organization skills.
• Excellent command of English, another European language an advantage but not required.
• You take initiative and have the drive to improve, hands-on mentality.
• The desire to take responsibility and to help stake holders.
• Adapt quickly to circumstances while remain to have overview.
• Knowledge of retail is required
• Get things done while managing competing deadlines with moderate guidance
