About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced F&B Evening Kitchen Manager to join the team at Embassy Suites Knoxville West. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will lead and motivate the kitchen staff, manage inventory, and collaborate closely with other departments to maintain smooth and efficient kitchen workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service quality.
- Lead, train, and supervise the kitchen team to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Create and update kitchen policies and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs.
- Collaborate with the F&B management team to develop menu offerings and special promotions.
- Handle scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution within the kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred.
