Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Analysis and Optimization:

 Analyze inventory levels, transactions, and variances to identify trends and discrepancies. 

  • Support inventory flow processes, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping, to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory processes with production and supply chain operations. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with inventory control policies. 
  • Prepare inventory reports and provide data to support operational decision-making. 
  • Participate in internal and external inventory audits. 
  • Utilize ERP/WMS systems to support accurate inventory tracking and reporting. 

Physical Inventory:

 Execute and support cycle counting programs to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies. 

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Assist with planning and execution of annual or periodic physical inventories. 
  • Reconcile inventory records and support accurate financial reporting. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory management standards. 

Key Responsibilities – Inventory Control & Material Handling

  • Coordinate the accurate and timely movement, storage, and distribution of materials to support operational requirements. 
  • Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory activities; investigate discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy. 
  • Monitor inventory transactions, ensuring accurate documentation of receipts, transfers, adjustments, and material movements. 
  • Provide guidance and training on inventory control procedures, material management processes, and safety requirements. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

 Track and report key inventory control KPIs, including inventory accuracy and cycle count completion rates. 

  • Support initiatives to achieve inventory performance targets. 

 Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred). 
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or related roles in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Excel. 
  • Understanding of inventory flow, cycle counting principles, physical inventory processes, and inventory reconciliation. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

Preferred Skills:

  • APICS or other relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP). 
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Familiarity with inventory compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
