About this role

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

What You Will Do with JT4

Essential Functions and Duties:

The essential functions of an Instrumentation Logistician Level III will help us procure, organize, and catalogue parts and equipment in support of flight test operations. Work will be completed under general supervision and mentorship of senior Logisticians. Tasks will include:

  • Procure parts and equipment following applicable Air Force procedures and documentation
  • Track and Maintain parts stock as needed to meet immediate needs of Flight Test Modifications and Operational Support
  • Track statuses of materials throughout the ordering process and provide feedback and statuses to customers and stakeholders
  • Interact with a variety of entities including vendors, stakeholders, customers and supervision to understand and evaluate the required materials in support of unique tasks
  • Identify discrepancies in parts and offer alternatives to parts on drawings
  • Perform physical inventorying, cataloging, warehouse, material/property control coordination, and data entry in support of various supply activity

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in the use of word processing tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and the proper use of email applications
  • Quality communication skills (both verbal and written) and be able to have efficient interactions with people in various positions
  • General working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
  • Planning/Organizational skills and the ability to work multiple tasks during a given timeframe
  • Ability to work under deadlines

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Vocational/technical training beyond high school from an academic institution, or military equivalent training, and a minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience are required for this position.

In addition, an Engineering Technician III must possess the following qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Planning/organizational skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Must possess a valid, state issued driver’s license
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

SALARY

The expected salary range for this position is $54,000 to $66,000 annually.

JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required.

Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
