Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Transport material and pre-fab to and from the shop and our projects.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Assist with shop duties as needed when deliveries are not needed.
- Primary vehicle is a Peterbilt 10-speed manual transmission truck pulling a 48-foot trailer
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be able to safely operate a manual transmission Class A commercial truck (no automatic transmission restriction)
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulation
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
