Description

 

A Sales Associate is responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts after the initial sale, often focusing on building relationships, upselling, and cross-selling. They are the primary point of contact for their assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and driving additional business. 

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

Oversee and manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and satisfaction levels are high. 

Product Knowledge

Relationship Building:

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and challenges. 

Sales Growth:

Drive new business from existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and contract renewal efforts. 

Customer Service:

Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction. 

Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating effectively with both clients and internal teams. 

Reporting:

Prepare reports on account status, sales performance, and forecasts. 

Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve customer issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions. 

Team Work:

Ability to work with and as a team.

Requirements

 

Key Skills: Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. 

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively. 

Sales & Customer Service: Knowledge of sales techniques, customer service principles, and account management strategies. 

Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships. 

Leadership: May involve leading or mentoring account representatives. 

Organizational: Ability to manage multiple accounts and track key metrics. 

Must be willing to work in Mount Airy or Winston Salem as business needs requires.
