Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, and provide a welcoming atmosphere for all Agency visitors.
- Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
- Maintain the reception, waiting area and meeting rooms in a tidy and presentable manner.
- Perform a variety of general administrative in support of the Central Branch’s programs and teams.
- Ensure accurate tracking and distribution of various client related vouchers, such as cheques, food vouchers, TTC tokens, etc.
- Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services and other correspondence.
- Answering and handling multi-line switchboards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in an Office Administration, Social Work, and/or Social Science related program.
- 2 years of related experience in social services or working with a community agency.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
- Superior telephone etiquette.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and requests.
- Adaptable, flexible, and responsive to ever-changing deadlines and circumstances.
- Fluency in French/Russian/Hebrew will be considered an asset.
