Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Welder with experience in MIG and TIG welding of both aluminum and steel components. This position plays a critical role in fabricating quality products to exact specifications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment according to production schedules.

· Adjust machine settings to ensure proper weld quality and product conformance.

· Weld and assemble components using samples, blueprints, or work instructions.

· Conduct destructive weld testing as required.

· Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.

· Create samples and prototypes for new products.

· Complete necessary documentation and records accurately.

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized 5S-compliant work environment.

· Report any machine or tooling issues to the Production Manager.

· Adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

· Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and calibrated measuring tools.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Basic math and reading comprehension.

· Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly.

· Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and material handling.

· Flexibility to work overtime on short notice.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1–3 years of hands-on MIG/TIG welding experience.

· Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

 

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.
