Maintenance Machinist                               

 

JOB SUMMARY

Maintenance Machinists must be mechanically inclined and is responsible for performing machine work to support mold and manufacturing activities.

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Use of machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, saws, drill presses, etc.
  • Use of micrometers, dial calipers, Vernier calipers and common graduated scales
  • Produce and maintain tooling and support the maintenance department
  • Perform repair services
  • Construct machine items for new projects
  • Reading manuals, charts, and written instructions
  • Daily work order reports for each job performed and other required paperwork
  • Reading and Interpreting Blue Prints and Schematics
  • Leadership role in problem solving
  • Train new Maintenance team members as needed

Capable of passing Maintenance Machinist Test

Read and Interpret Blue Prints

Read and Interpret Schematics

40 Hours+ weekly

Mathematics (good working knowledge)
