Seasonal Warehouse Assistant - Comfort, TX.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for picking orders, storing and shipping supplies, replenishing inventory locations, packing orders, as well as transacting inventory out of the Supply warehouse.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

 WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Physically receives and puts-away merchandise, supplies and printed materials.
• Picks and packages supplies to fulfill orders.
• Performs transactions in Oracle as needed.
• Performs cycle counts.
• Manifests shipments to James Avery retail stores or suppliers/vendors using shipping applications, including weighing and labeling the package/shipping container.
• Provides support in other areas and performs additional duties as assigned.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

• Ability to safely lift, load and deliver items up to 55lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Ability to apply basic logic and understanding to carry out detailed instructions in written, verbal or diagram form.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency with ability to quickly learn new technology & equipment.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage frequent interruptions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends and evenings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Warehouse or Distribution Center.
• Courier and/or delivery experience.
