Key Responsibilities & Fleet Details
- The Route: Pull freight directly from the Perryville, MD distribution center, executing dedicated regional loops into Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Staten Island, NY, before returning back to the DC.
- Active Unloading (Touch Freight): This is a multi-stop delivery fleet averaging 10 to 20 stops per week. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers utilizing company-provided pallet jacks.
- Night Operations: The fleet operates 24/7. Available dispatch windows start in the evening and early morning hours between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM.
Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Experience: 3 months solo Verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically capable of lifting and pulling up to 75 lbs. routinely to manage pallet jack deliveries.
- Commute: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute daily to the yard. Trucks must remain parked at the distribution center and cannot be taken home.
- Must live within 45 miles of Perryville, MD.
- Must pass a standard DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
