The Asset Maintenance Tech I plays a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment while also supporting inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
Helps coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories
Assists with evaluation of cycle counts and coordinates adjustments
Inspects and ensures all equipment is properly repaired or serviced prior to release
Completes all required equipment check sheets
Ensures all parts, labor, and miscellaneous items are included on the work orders
Operates forklift as required to move equipment and supplies
Delivers and/or picks up berms from customers
Other duties as assigned
Skill Set
Mechanical or equipment maintenance experience
Hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance
Strong mechanical skills (hydraulics, valves, hoses; basic electrical a plus)
Able to work independently in yard/shop/field environments
Welding a plus
