Graduate Engineer Trainee - Architecture

Job Description

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee - Architecture to join our dedicated team at our office in Mumbai.

 

Position Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of architectural drawings, layouts, and BIM models.
• Support design coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in design reviews and documentation activities.
• Assist in site visits and project execution support.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture (B.Arch.).
• 0–1 year of experience.
• Basic knowledge of architectural design and construction practices.
• Good Creative skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements.

Software Skills

• AutoCAD – 2D drafting, detailing, layout preparation, and construction documentation.
• Autodesk Revit Architecture – BIM modeling, architectural documentation, schedules, and coordination.
• MS Office- MS Word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint.
• SketchUp – Conceptual and 3D architectural modeling.
• Twin motion – Architectural visualization and virtual presentations.
• Adobe Photoshop – Presentation boards, image editing, and rendering enhancement.

Preferred Software Skills:

• Ability to use an Artificial Intelligence Interface.
• Architectural rendering and walkthrough creation.
• Adobe Illustrator – Diagrams, graphical presentations, and infographics.
• Adobe InDesign – Report and portfolio preparation.
• Bluebeam Revu – PDF markup and document review.
