About this role

  1. Inspect, kit, install, and assemble components of fiber-optic medical products: optical fibers, ferrules, connectors, and packaging components.
  2. Operate manufacturing test equipment: fiber-optic strippers and cleavers, power meters, oscilloscopes, laser test stations, RFID readers, and microscopes.
  3. Use bonding materials: epoxies, glues, etc.
  4. Wear appropriate cleanroom attire, work in a controlled manufacturing area requiring coats, hair and beard nets, gloves, and booties.
  5. Use generic cleaning liquids (alcohol, isopropanol alcohol, acetone, etc.).
  6. Maintain cleanliness of work and common areas.
  7. Cross-train in production process or area as assigned by the Supervisor.
  8. Meet assigned production metrics as defined by the Supervisor.
  9. Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  10. LEVEL II

    1. Perform basic setup, and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
    2. Train other assemblers as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Install, and assemble components of fiber-optic medical products
  2. Operate manufacturing welding, testing, and packaging equipment
  3. Wear appropriate cleanroom attire, work in a controlled manufacturing area requiring coats, hair and beard nets, gloves, and booties
  4. Use generic cleaning liquids such as isopropanol alcohol
  5. Maintain cleanliness of work and common areas
  6. Cross train in production process or area as assigned by the Supervisor
  7. Meet assigned production metrics as defined by the Supervisor
  8. Perform basic setup and troubleshooting of equipment as needed
  9. Train other Assemblers as assigned
  10. Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
