About this role
- Inspect, kit, install, and assemble components of fiber-optic medical products: optical fibers, ferrules, connectors, and packaging components.
- Operate manufacturing test equipment: fiber-optic strippers and cleavers, power meters, oscilloscopes, laser test stations, RFID readers, and microscopes.
- Use bonding materials: epoxies, glues, etc.
- Wear appropriate cleanroom attire, work in a controlled manufacturing area requiring coats, hair and beard nets, gloves, and booties.
- Use generic cleaning liquids (alcohol, isopropanol alcohol, acetone, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness of work and common areas.
- Cross-train in production process or area as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Meet assigned production metrics as defined by the Supervisor.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

- Perform basic setup, and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
- Train other assemblers as assigned.
Qualifications

- Wear appropriate cleanroom attire, work in a controlled manufacturing area requiring coats, hair and beard nets, gloves, and booties
- Use generic cleaning liquids such as isopropanol alcohol
- Maintain cleanliness of work and common areas
- Cross train in production process or area as assigned by the Supervisor
- Meet assigned production metrics as defined by the Supervisor
- Perform basic setup and troubleshooting of equipment as needed
- Train other Assemblers as assigned
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
