As a Clinical Supervisor, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with laws and regulatory standards
Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides, therapists, and social workers to ensure client and patient standards are met.
Hire, orient, train, supervise, and retain qualified clinicians, supportive services, and caregivers
Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures
Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction
Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care
Assist the Director in managing Quality and Quality Assurance
Participate and help lead interdisciplinary meetings of the team and coordinate plans of care
A few must-haves for a Clinical Supervisor
Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in Indiana
Minimum of 1 year in area being hired into
At least 1 year of supervisory and caregiver management experience
CPR certification
Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws and regulatory standards
Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
