About this role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer with 3-7 years of experience to serve as the technical co-seller alongside our Account Executives, bridging the gap between our complex agentic AI platform and enterprise financial institution buyers. You'll own the technical win on $250K+ ACV deals at a profitable, $30M Series A startup that's redefining how community banks and credit unions serve their customers.
What will you be doing?
Own the entire technical aspect of enterprise deals — from technical discovery and integration assessment through to close
Build and deliver tailored product demonstrations mapped to each prospect's specific pain points and infrastructure
Partner with AEs as a technical co-seller, handling competitive analysis, RFPs, and POC engagements
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customers' existing technical infrastructure
Travel occasionally (~20%) for on-site client meetings, demos, and industry events
Key Requirements
3+ years in a dedicated Solutions Engineer or pre-sales engineering role with enterprise deal experience (complex tech, large deal sizes)
Background in CCaaS, conversational AI, contact center software, or similar complex technical products
Strong understanding of AI/NLU architecture and integration patterns (no coding required, but must speak credibly to technical buyers)
Startup or high-growth company experience — comfortable with ambiguity and able to be a self-starter from day one
Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco for 5 days/week on-site
