Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Remote)
Clearance Required: Active DoD Public Trust
About the Role
We’re seeking a senior level Technical SME specializing in data architecture and data warehousing. This role supports the design, architecture, data modeling, and management of enterprise data repositories, with a focus on integrating Occupational & Environmental Health (OEH) exposure information into DoD systems.
Responsibilities
- Apply OEH business knowledge to data architecture and design decisions
- Support data model development and architectural work for the OEH data warehouse
- Integrate DoW OEH exposure information into enterprise data repositories
- Provide SME level guidance on data warehouse structure, performance, and best practices
Required Experience
- Senior-level experience in database administration, engineering and architecture
- Knowledge of OEH business practices
- Knowledge of the design, architecture, data model, data warehouse management and integration of DoW OEH exposure information into data repositories
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large-scale federal health or personnel data warehouses (multi million record systems)
- Oracle data warehouse experience, including upgrade or migration projects
