About this role

POSITION TITLE: ServiceNow Developer

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Top Secret (TS)

The work you build here won’t sit in a backlog – it will directly support critical government missions.

At Intact Technology, you’ll solve complex ServiceNow challenges in highly secure environments, work alongside experienced platform experts, and have the freedom to own solutions from concept to deployment. If you’re looking for more technical ownership, greater impact, and fewer layers of bureaucracy, we’d love to meet you.

ABOUT US:

At Intact Technology, we are driven by a shared commitment to customer success, employee fulfillment, and meaningful impact. We combine human ingenuity with intelligent tools to deliver smarter solutions, faster outcomes, and exceptional value for our clients and partners.

We operate in an AI-enabled, outcome-based delivery model, where technology accelerates execution and our teams focus on judgment, problem solving, client impact, and accountability. Success at Intact requires the ability to leverage tools effectively while applying a critical, thoughtful approach to client solutions and delivery outcomes.

Our culture is built around individuality, autonomy, and empowerment, with the freedom to think creatively, act boldly, and make an impact. We support that with a flexible work environment, comprehensive benefits, and continued investment in learning and career growth.

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow Solutions within secure federal environments. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of your work, and building solutions that directly support mission-critical government operations, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

You’ll collaborate with clients, architects, developers, and government stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on ITSM and related workflows. You’ll also have opportunities to work with platform integrations, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and emerging ServiceNow capabilities that help modernize service delivery.

Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, mission-driven environments. If you’re looking to work on high-impact programs alongside experienced professionals while delivering results that matter, we’d love to hear from you.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL HERE YOU WILL:

  • Own the end-to-end development lifecycle for enterprise ServiceNow solutions, from technical design through deployment.
  • Design, build, and enhance custom ServiceNow solutions that support secure government environments.
  • Develop scalable workflows, integrations, and automations that improve operational efficiency for federal customers.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and mission leads to deliver highly tailored ITSM capabilities.
  • Lead module development, integrations, and enhancements across the ServiceNow suite.
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and secure configuration under TS protocols.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical direction on best practices in a high-stakes, cleared environment.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve platform performance, usability, and maintainability through thoughtful development and innovation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a current Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
  • Must be willing and eligible to obtain SCI access as required for the role.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in a secure SCIF environment five days per week in the Northern Virginia/DMV area.
  • Prior experience working directly on a cleared or classified network.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Mastery of the ITSM suite – Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and more.
  • Comfort working fully onsite in the DMV.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, REST/SOAP, APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Strong grasp of SDLC processes in secure or regulated environments.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITSM, CAD, etc.).
  • Experience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology.

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous SCI access within the past 24 months is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules such as SecOps, Discovery, or HAM/SAM.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps integrations within ServiceNow.

OUR TALENT VISION:

  • We take ownership in our customers’ success, delivering excellence with purpose and precision, every time.
  • We’re passionate about harnessing innovation, data, and the power of AI to create meaningful outcomes that drive transformation for our clients and communities.

  • Our culture values individuality and empowerment. We trust our teams to take initiative, think critically, and use emerging tools like AI to elevate how we work, learn, and deliver value.
  • We actively support a healthy blend between work and life and believe that sustainable performance comes from collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • We believe exceptional results come from empowered people. That’s why we trust our teams with meaningful ownership, encourage curiousity, and create opportunities for every employee to grow professionally while making a lasting impact for our clients.
