We are seeking Product Service Support Technician to join our dynamic team at Livermore, CA! This position is responsible for supporting and facilitating the day-to-day care of animals in the assigned facility. Product Service Support Technicians are primarily tasked with preparing, presenting, and maintaining products and services that facilitate animal care and breeding. The person in this role will need to feel passionate about working with animals, enjoy and excel at organization, and support and maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment. We are seeking someone that is hardworking, shows attention to detail, takes initiative, has a teamwork mentality and positive attitude.
As part of this role, the Product Service Support Technician will contribute to the team by:
Shipping and receiving duties including stocking and re-stocking supplies, feed, bedding, etc.
Operate washing and sterilization equipment
Keep complete and detailed records
Maintain work area in an organized, clean, and safe condition
Assembly of animal shipping boxes
Stock and handle chemicals with care
Other duties as assigned
To be successful in this role, this position requires the Product Service Support Technician brings:
Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently
Accurately calculate and record numbers
Good teamwork skills
Able to work in a confined environment
Work in a standing position that will require bending and stretching of arms and legs throughout regular work shift
Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Ability to follow sterile entry procedures and maintain neat, clean, and safe conditions
Ability to operate autoclave and cage washing equipment
Ability to pass a pulmonary fit test
*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
