Molar City is a boutique fee-for-service dental practice in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our established team. Our practice combines advanced technology and personalized patient care to create an environment where quality comes first. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive preventive dental care including cleanings, periodontal scaling, and root planing
- Take and interpret dental radiographs and digital scans using Cone Beam Imaging technology
- Conduct intraoral patient education using advanced microscope imaging to help patients understand their dental health
- Screen patients for early signs of oral disease, periodontal disease, and general health concerns
- Maintain detailed patient notes and collaborate with dentists on individualized treatment recommendations
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical operatory standards with attention to infection control
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture focused on patient comfort and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the State of Illinois
- Proficiency with digital radiography, intraoral imaging, and electronic health records
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with dentists and clinical team members
- Commitment to infection control and clinical excellence
- Prior experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply!
