Job Description
You are passionate about solving complex technical challenges and supporting customers in a high-tech environment. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will analyze system performance, investigate technical issues, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver effective solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd Level Support for complex technical issues and customer escalations
- Analyze system data, logs, and performance metrics to identify root causes
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and system aborts
- Create, maintain, and track support tickets
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and engineering teams to drive issue resolution
- Participate in on-call support and tool operation when required
- Support process improvements, documentation, and training initiatives
Qualifications
- Technical degree in Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in technical support, troubleshooting, or a similar engineering role
- Ability to interpret technical data, log files, and system performance indicators
- Structured, independent, and customer-focused working style
- Excellent communication skills and very good English proficiency
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ideally, experience in the semiconductor, high-tech, or manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and root cause analysis methodologies is an advantage
- Experience working in international and cross-functional teams is a plus

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 53.000,- € (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
