Warehouse Manager - Greenville, NC

Job Purpose & Summary:

As Warehouse Manager, you'll protect the flow of product and service that keeps customers supplied-by running warehouse operations with discipline, accuracy, and compliance. This role exists to improve profitability and customer satisfaction through safe, secure, efficient, cost-effective execution. Must be a team player, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Essential Functions:

• Overseeing warehouse operations to exceed expectations for productivity, daily workflow and accuracy
• Ensure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner and maintain required records in conformance with company policy
• Supervising and scheduling warehouse and delivery staff
• Supervising and scheduling maintenance for company delivery vehicles to meet company policy and OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations
• Have a working knowledge of plumbing/heating products and industry
• Be skilled in computer use (ability to master Eclipse software)
• Be an excellent communicator
• Handle all duties honestly, follow high ethical standards and present a professional image at all times

 

Necessary qualifications/skills:

• Experience overseeing warehouse operations and coordinating teams
• Ability to supervise and schedule warehouse and delivery staff
• Ability to supervise and schedule maintenance of company delivery vehicles
• Plumbing and Heating experience a plus
• Communication, time management and organizational skills

Education/Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' driving experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Working knowledge of Eclipse software preferred
