Head of Talent Acquisition

On-site

About this role

We’re looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition to own hiring and core people operations at Human Archive.

This is not a role for someone who wants to build slow recruiting systems. We need someone who can move extremely fast, operate under pressure, and hire at massive scale across a wide range of roles.

You might be asked to hire 10 people in the next two weeks, then immediately build the pipeline for the next 50. We don't have anyone on the HR/People team right now so you will have to own the stack end-to-end

2+ YOE

What you’ll own

  • End-to-end hiring across field operations, field sales, managers, data annotators, and other high-volume operational roles

  • Building sourcing pipelines capable of producing hundreds of qualified candidates

  • Screening, interviewing, coordinating, closing, and getting candidates to join quickly

  • Working directly with founders to understand rapidly changing headcount needs

  • Designing recruiting processes that optimize for speed without compromising quality

  • Managing job boards, agencies, referrals, campus pipelines, and other sourcing channels

  • Owning candidate tracking, recruiting metrics, and hiring forecasts

  • Managing offer rollout, documentation, onboarding, and employee joining

  • Coordinating payroll and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time

  • Owning day-to-day people operations including leave policies, attendance, employee records, and basic HR administration

  • Building the systems and eventually the team required to support hiring at significantly larger scale

What we’re looking for

  • You are exceptionally fast and execution-oriented

  • You are comfortable with aggressive hiring targets and short timelines

  • You have experience with high-volume recruiting, ideally for operations, sales, support, annotation, logistics, or similar workforces

  • You can simultaneously recruit for frontline roles and more senior managerial positions

  • You are highly organized and can keep track of dozens of candidates and employees without things falling through the cracks

  • You don’t wait for perfect processes—you build what is needed and improve it while operating

  • You are comfortable owning recruiting as well as the operational work that happens after someone accepts an offer

  • You care about numbers: pipeline size, conversion rates, time-to-hire, joining rates, attrition, and hiring velocity

What success looks like

When we say we need 10 people within two weeks, your response is figuring out how to make it happen.

You build a recruiting engine that allows Human Archive to scale its workforce rapidly while making sure the people who join are onboarded, paid, and supported properly.

This is a high-ownership, high-intensity role for someone who wants to build the talent function from the ground up.
