Tombstone Rips is looking for a detail-oriented, market-savvy Consignment & Online Sales Specialist to manage the intake, evaluation, and sale of consigned trading cards. This role is central to maximizing value on singles from our most sought-after breaks — deciding what sells now, what gets held for a better market, and making sure every listing across eBay and other seller platforms is accurate, competitive, and optimized to sell.
Responsibilities:
· Consignment Intake :Receive and process consigned cards from sellers, verifying condition, authenticity, and completeness against consignment agreements.
· Market Evaluation: Research recent sales, population reports, and market trends to determine current fair value for each card.
· Sell vs. Hold Strategy: Recommend and execute decisions on which cards to list for immediate sale versus hold for future demand spikes (player performance, HOF induction, anniversary sets, grading pop changes, etc.).
· Listing Management: Create, edit, and maintain high-quality listings on eBay and other seller portals — accurate titles, descriptions, condition notes, and pricing.
· Photography & Presentation: Capture clear, well-lit images of cards (front/back, close-ups of centering/corners/edges) that meet marketplace best practices.
· Pricing & Repricing: Monitor active listings and adjust pricing based on market movement, competitor listings, and sell-through rate.
· Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of consigned inventory, sold items, consignor payouts, and unsold/held inventory status.
· Platform Compliance: Stay current on eBay and other marketplace policies (fees, shipping requirements, authentication programs) to keep the account in good standing.
· Customer Communication: Respond to buyer questions, handle offers/best-offer negotiations, and resolve listing or shipping issues promptly.
· Fulfillment Support: Coordinate packaging and shipping of sold singles to ensure safe delivery and protect against damage claims.
· Reporting: Provide regular updates to leadership on sell-through rates, top performers, and inventory aging.
