We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. You'll be working in the fast-paced, always evolving construction industry, where you will be constantly challenged and given the opportunity to make a big impact. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity for those with a passion for problem-solving and a keen interest in the HVAC sector.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for both commercial and residential customers. This includes air conditioning systems, chillers, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting electrical wiring.
- Responding to emergency call-outs, quickly identifying the problem and implementing a suitable solution.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers, explaining complex HVAC issues in a clear, understandable manner.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and reporting any issues encountered.
