JOB SUMMARY


This position is responsible for, but not limited to, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments.
This role ensures that all materials and products are received in good condition and meet quality
standards. The associate will unload deliveries, verify packing slips against purchase orders, label items,
and organize inventory within the warehouse. An individual in this position will be expected to perform
additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


 Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately
 Oversee the receipt of purchased goods verifying counts and quality, complete transactions to
receive product, process paperwork, and complete all necessary transactions according to
established procedures
 Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory
 Cycle count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to
correct inventory problems
 Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
 Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
 Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type
 Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
 Operating stock management tools; for example, a forklift
 Complete inventory transactions to receive, assign location and issue inventory as required
 Transport raw materials to production floor
 Receive delivery trucks and embark merchandise in delivery truck
 Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
 Communicates in a respectful and professional manner
 Maintain a clean area around warehouse
 Experience problem solving and working through challenging roadblocks
 Pass on information to the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Lead
 Flexible to schedule change (hours and days) when necessary to fit operation's needs
 Use safe and correct procedures to operate machines in assigned area
 Perform other related duties as assigned

 Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by FM Expressions. Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) may be subject to change based on the manufacturer’s recommendation. The
Personal Protective Equipment will depend on what kind of tasks are being performed, review the
PPE requirements for the tasks with the corresponding supervisor/manager.
o Belt, body harness and lanyard (when operating scissor lift).


WORK ENVIRONMENT


 FM Expressions facilities are well ventilated, and well lit
 Noise level is usually moderate to loud
 Warehouse work can be physically and mentally strenuous and requires remaining in a stationary
position (standing) extended period of time:
 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical
parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, heat and cold
 Working around large machines can be hazardous, so the Warehouse Picker constantly observes
good safety habits.

REQUIRED SKILL AND ABILITIES


 Ability to follow instructions
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
 Have the physical ability to grasp, turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring
fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
 Be able to visually inspect equipment and verify information often in small print
 Be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping
 Have the physical ability to move, lift, load and place items weighing up to 50 pounds at a time.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 Previous related experience preferred
 Valid fork-lifting certificate preferred
 Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, PowerPoint, Impress, 3PL, Pace and
Adobe Acrobat
