Role Summary
As a Field Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting the operation and reliability of the power generation facility by monitoring, operating, and maintaining main and auxiliary equipment. This position requires a safety-focused professional capable of identifying operational anomalies, performing field maneuvers, and ensuring optimal plant performance while working closely with the Control Room and Maintenance teams.
Technical Requirements:
- Technical or Technological Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related technical disciplines.
• Valid professional license, registration, or certification issued by the appropriate authority to work in Freeport.
• Experience performing power plant operation activities or experience in the field of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Previous experience in Power Plant or the Oil & Gas industry.
• Advanced English.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and operational best practices.

✨ What will be your responsibilities?
- Operate and maneuver main and auxiliary generation equipment according to plant requirements and operating procedures
• Monitor field equipment, identify anomalies, and communicate findings to the Control Room and relevant stakeholders
• Interpret P&IDs, operating ranges, and technical procedures to ensure safe and efficient plant operation
• Perform inspections of plant systems and support corrective operational actions to maintain availability and efficiency targets
• Replenish oils and lubricants when required, following safety standards
• Supervise areas outside the Control Room and ensure proper operation and preservation of equipment and facilities
• Identify and report operational risks that may impact personnel safety, equipment integrity, or plant performance
• Coordinate equipment shutdowns, startups, and operational activities with the Maintenance team and Control Room personnel
• Execute field maneuvers involving electrical systems, fire protection systems, fuel transfer operations, and auxiliary service systems
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Comply with all operational, administrative, quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures established by the company
Location: Freeport, Grand Bahama
Work Modality: On-site
Term: 3 months initially, subject to extension (highly probable)
