This is a temporary, hourly position and does not carry authority to independently bind the hotel to contracts, expenses, or external commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, property promotions, special events, partnerships, and brand activations.

Develop, edit, and organize content for social media, email campaigns, websites, digital listings, presentations, and promotional materials.

Coordinate with hotel departments to gather accurate information about rooms, food and beverage outlets, meetings and events, programming, and guest experiences.

Assist with marketing calendars, production schedules, event timelines, content deadlines, and project follow-up.

Maintain consistent brand voice, visual standards, messaging, and quality across assigned materials and communication channels.

Support photography, video, influencer, public relations, and media activities, including shot lists, schedules, approvals, and onsite coordination.

Assist with recurring food and beverage programming and key hotel activation dates as assigned.

Track campaign activity and compile basic performance results, engagement data, project updates, and recommendations for review.

Coordinate with approved vendors and partners while following hotel purchasing, approval, confidentiality, and brand standards.

Attend meetings, walkthroughs, and property events as needed and complete other marketing-related assignments within the temporary scope of work.

Timekeeping and Work Expectations

Accurately record all hours worked and clock in and out using the hotel's designated timekeeping system, including when working remotely.

Do not perform work before clocking in, after clocking out, or during an unpaid meal period.

Obtain advance approval from the Director of Sales and Marketing before working overtime, extending the assigned schedule, or incurring business expenses.

Communicate schedule changes, project risks, and anticipated delays promptly.

Protect confidential hotel, guest, associate, vendor, and business information.

Qualifications

Previous experience in marketing, communications, hospitality, events, social media, public relations, or a related field preferred.

Strong writing, editing, organization, project coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with appropriate direction and approvals.

Working knowledge of common office, presentation, email marketing, social media, and content management tools.

Sound judgment and discretion when representing the hotel and communicating with guests, partners, vendors, and the public.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays based on hotel events and business needs.

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to remain stationary and move throughout the hotel for meetings, events, content capture, and activations; operate a computer and other standard office equipment; communicate effectively in person and electronically; and occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Temporary Employment

This position is temporary and may end upon completion of the assignment, a change in business needs, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. Temporary employment does not guarantee continued employment or conversion to a regular position. Eligibility for benefits, if any, is governed by the terms of the applicable benefit plans and hotel policies.

Equal Employment Opportunity

Hotel Phoenix is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to any status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. Reasonable accommodations are available to qualified individuals with disabilities and for other protected needs as required by law.
