About this role

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Lead, deliver, and facilitate engaging, practical on-site training sessions directly for retail store employees and front-line staff across various H Mart locations
  • Conduct high-impact training fluently in English and Korean to effectively connect with and support a diverse, multicultural store workforce; Spanish-language delivery is a valued additional capability
  • Translate, localize, and adapt corporate training manuals, instructional materials, safety guidelines, and SOPs between English and Korean (and into Spanish where store demographics require it) to ensure clear understanding and flawless execution on the store floor
  • Deploy diverse practical learning methodologies at the store level, including hands-on coaching, job shadowing, and guiding employees through e-learning/online training modules
  • Collaborate with store managers and regional leadership to identify operational skill gaps and implement tailored training solutions that enhance store performance  

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluency or high proficiency in English and Korean (written and verbal) is strongly preferred (+Spanish is Huge Plus)
  • Prior L&D, corporate training, or supervisory experience specifically within the retail, supermarket, or grocery industry
  • Experience in establishing internal trainer programs to empower store managers and team leads as localized training champions
  • Highly mobile and flexible; ability to travel frequently to various retail store locations for hands-on training (Valid driver's license required)
  • Strong presentation and on-the-floor coaching skills, with proven experience in leading both Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and virtual setups when necessary
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills to connect naturally with store employees, supervisors, and corporate stakeholders alike  
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic familiarity with AI tools to optimize training preparation and reporting

Work Hours: Mon to Fri, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Salary Range: $66,500 - $85,250
