Job Summary: A Fire Extinguisher Service Helper is responsible for assisting with the inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of fire extinguishers under the direction of a Fire Extinguisher Technician. This role is critical in supporting the timely and efficient completion of service work while ensuring quality and adherence to company standards. The Fire Extinguisher Helper provides essential support to technicians in the field and plays an important role in delivering reliable service to our valued customers.
Pay Range: $17.50/hour - $23.00/hour. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted range. The posted range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits. Eligible employees may participate in the Company's benefit programs, subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of each plan.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist Fire Extinguisher Technicians with the inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of fire extinguishers and related equipment.

Provide support to technicians to ensure service work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with the proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
-
Valid Driver’s License.

Construction or related industry experience preferred, but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.

Basic understanding of technology, including iPhone, iPad, computers, and related applications.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed, which would require use of fall protection equipment and other safety devices.
- Capable of using hand and power tools, including specialty tools resulting in cutting, grinding, drilling, fastening and other methods resulting in torque, vibration, noise, etc.
