Electrical Technician

\nDescription-
Build and integrate electrical systems - including panels, power cables, busbars, and conduit - into the electrolyzer system and balance of plant

Land field instrumentation and PLC IO using shielded cable, and perform loop checks to verify each point end to end

Wire instrumentation, heater, and motors according to manufacturing specifications and internal wiring diagrams

Diagnose and repair any electrical issues, ensuring that all systems operate safely and efficiently

Work closely with engineers to understand design requirements and ensure that builds meet technical specifications and safety standards

Accurately record build processes, modifications, nonconformances, and test results to support traceability and improvements to system design and production processes

High school diploma or equivalent
-
2+ years of experience in electronics assembly, test, maintenance, or similar roles
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
-
Able to work on-site in Hawthorne, CA
-
Experience with Class I Div 2 wiring methods, including seal-offs and nonincendive field wiring
-
NFPA 70E training, and familiarity with loop calibrators, terminal schedules, and IO lists
-
Experience with terminating wires into terminals and control equipment for high and low power AC and DC systems
-
Ability to program VFDs, process controllers, and instrumentation

Familiarity with lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and the ability to work safely around high voltage equipment

Proficiency in bending, routing, and fishing conduit lines

Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics/diagrams, work instructions, and technical documents

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems

Strong attention to detail and diligent in following work instructions

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with engineers and other team members
