About this role
Hendrickson is searching for a Human Resources Intern for the Summer of 2027 at our Truck Divisional Headquarters in Woodridge, IL.
This individual will:
- Assists with the recruiting process. Reviews resumes for applicability, assists in writing job requisitions / position descriptions, contacts potential candidates, sets interviews, researches best recruitment/sourcing avenues.
- Assists with the new hire orientation process, ensures organizational announcements are completed.
- Aids in the coordination of training programs, oversees logistics for courses, communicates availability, ensures proper procedures are followed for committing to external training.
- Participates in Human Resources project teams and conducts research on HR issues.
- Assists with entering data and performing audits in the Human Resources Information System, performs queries and downloads, sets up templates as required. File management.
- Plan and participate in various employee relations activities.
- Performs other tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled student working toward a bachelor’s degree in a business related major, preferably in Human Resources.
- Minimum GPA requirement 3.0/4.0.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, strong planning skills.
- Ability to meet and communicate with employees in a one on one and group setting.
- Ability to travel on a minimal level.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $20.00-23.00 per hour based on the student's grade classification. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
