Vice President of Operations – Phoenix, AZ
Santa Rita Landscaping is seeking an experienced, results-driven leader to join our growing Phoenix, AZ business as Vice President of Operations.
The Opportunity
We’re growing—and looking for a proven operations leader to help shape what’s next. You’ll lead our Phoenix operations, develop great teams, strengthen execution, and build the foundation for sustainable growth.
As Vice President of Operations, you’ll:
- Lead, manage, and hold operational leaders and teams accountable for results
- Own operational performance, including revenue, gross margin, overhead, forecasting, and KPIs
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, quality, and service excellence
- Develop leaders and build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement
- Ensure teams consistently follow company processes, SOPs, and safety standards
- Allocate people, equipment, and resources to support operational and growth objectives
- Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions
- Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to achieve company goals
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Green Industry experience with significant operational leadership responsibility
- Experience leading multiple teams, branches, or profit centers
- Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial-management capabilities
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance field execution with strategic and financial leadership
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
