Location: San Francisco (in-office) Experience: 2+ years Travel: 30–40% to partner sites

We are looking for an AI Forward Deployed Software Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join a pioneering team building a new category of technology transformation company. You'll work alongside leaders who helped found and build Palantir Commercial, deploying AI and frontier technology into real businesses to create step-change value.

This is a software engineering role first. You'll spend most of your time writing production code and shipping systems. What makes it different is where you do it: inside our partner companies, close to the operators and the data, owning the outcome rather than a ticket.

What you'll do

Build and deploy production software, AI systems, and operational tools that solve real business problems for partner companies

Work directly with the data inside a business and turn it into working systems that drive decisions: pipelines, models, and interfaces that operators actually use

Partner directly with executives, operators, and frontline users to understand how companies actually work and where technology can create the most impact

Turn ambiguous business problems into deployed technical systems, owning outcomes end to end from discovery through adoption

Co-author transformation roadmaps: deciding what should be built, what should be scaled, and what organizational changes are needed

Travel to partner sites (30–40%) to work shoulder to shoulder with management teams and users

What we're looking for

2+ years of post-college experience as a software engineer, with a strong CS or software engineering background

Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages, and a track record of writing high-quality, production code that other engineers depend on

Ability to reason from data to decisions: you're comfortable exploring an unfamiliar dataset, forming a hypothesis, and translating what you find into something a business can act on

AI-native working style: you use AI tools daily to write code, analyze data, and automate workflows

Strong user empathy and the ability to earn trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Comfort creating structure in ambiguous environments with no roadmap or clean product spec

Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
