Haley Automotive Group is seeking a Service Lane Coordinator.   The Lane Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of customers and vehicles between designated locations such as dealerships, service centers, and parking facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as the Lane Coordinator often serves as the first and last point of contact for clients. The role demands adherence to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for passengers and vehicles. The Lane Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational condition of the shuttle vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Ultimately, this position supports the overall efficiency and reputation of the automotive service operation by providing reliable and courteous shuttle services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Proven experience operating passenger vehicles safely.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Physical ability to assist passengers and handle vehicle-related tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with local traffic patterns and routes within the service area.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate shuttle vehicles to transport customers and vehicles safely between specified locations within scheduled timeframes.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any mechanical issues or damages.
  • Assist customers with boarding and exiting the shuttle, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of shuttle trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to ensure a secure transportation environment.
