Together with his former business partner, Van Gurley, Mike expanded the business to South Bend, IN, in 1977, acquiring the Buick store downtown. Description

Gurley Leep Automotive family is hiring a Title Clerk. Must have automotive title duties experience. Compensation rate is based on experience. Ideal candidate will have experience automotive titling experience. We are a dealership group with 24 locations across 5 states and continue to expand. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process new and used vehicles for registration both in and out of state
Maintain Motor Vehicle schedule
Post daily Motor Vehicle transactions
Understand Missouri tax laws with respect to vehicle registration
Title flips in and out of state
Accounting Schedule Reconciliations
Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience in Illinois titling.
Knowledge of CVR systems is recommended.
Understand basic accounting
Ability to communicate effectively verbally in one-on-one situations to customers and other associates
Experience processing title work in a dealership environment preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
