Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Regional Operations & Business Support Manager to join our team. This is a key role supporting regional leadership and branch operations, with responsibility for pricing, inventory, systems, reporting, operations, and continuous improvement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and oversee the region's pricing strategy, including customer price matrices, supplier pricing, rebates, and margin opportunities.
  • Provide operational and financial support to the VP and regional management team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in P21, supporting teams with system functionality, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Lead and support the regional operations team and oversee the operations of the regional Small Distribution Centre.
  • Manage and analyze inventory, including discrepancies, write-downs, physical inventories, SKU creation, costs, supplier returns, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze key business reports, including monthly commission reports, inventory analytics, operational reporting, and business performance reporting.
  • Use Power BI and advanced Excel to provide meaningful business insights and support decision-making.
  • Support regional and branch planning, freight negotiations, vendor relationships, and cost-management initiatives.
  • Review operational expenses, supplier invoices, pricing, and inventory activity for accuracy and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Support the eCommerce business, including increasing customer engagement and helping customers navigate the platform.
  • Coordinate regional marketing initiatives and support branch merchandising.
  • Provide training and support to employees on systems, operational processes, and best practices.
  • Support administrative and inside sales teams with procedures, back orders, key accounts, and system-related needs.
  • Oversee Health & Safety policies, procedures, and training within the region.
  • Coordinate and track employee vacation and time-off requests.
  • Promote continuous improvement, professional development, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain current knowledge through vendor training, educational opportunities, and industry development.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and core values.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum five (5) years of industry experience preferable, or a combination of relevant experience and education
  • Experience in operations, distribution, supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Power BI and ERP/CRM systems; P21 experience is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, inventory, purchasing, and financial processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • A professional, ethical, and collaborative approach to leadership and business.
  • Ability to address problems and opportunities for the company.
