This entry-level position is designed for individuals interested in developing the skills needed to become a certified automotive body repair technician. The Bodyshop Apprentice will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with vehicle repairs, restorations, and refinishing while gaining hands-on experience in a collision repair environment.
Able to work Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm
Key Responsibilities
Assist technicians with vehicle disassembly for damage analysis.
Sand and prime vehicles in preparation for repairs.
Reassemble vehicles and assist with final quality control inspections.
Organize and dispose of parts packaging and recycled materials.
Maintain shop cleanliness, including sweeping and general housekeeping duties.
Wash and prepare vehicles for customer delivery.
Follow directions from the Shop Foreman and support the collision repair team as needed.
Qualifications
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Automotive trade school attendance or enrollment is preferred.
Ability to provide basic automotive repair tools.
Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment and follow instructions.
