Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking an Outlet Associate to provide friendly, fast, accurate, and safe customer service while supporting daily outlet operations. This position assists customers and donors, accepts donations, merchandises sales floor inventory, maintains a safe shopping environment, and supports processing and rotation activities to meet operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet donors and customers in a friendly and professional manner while providing excellent customer service.

Maintain efficient register operations to keep customer wait times to a minimum and ask each customer if they would like to Round Up their purchase.

Accept donations and provide donation receipts to customers.

Merchandise counters, tables, racks, and other sales floor displays while following all processing, pricing, and rotation guidelines.

Assist with rotation activities by providing crowd control and moving tables as needed.

Meet or exceed established processing goals.

Load materials and products into Gaylords, balers, pallets, and other designated holding areas according to established sorting procedures.

Properly sort and place pulls and salvage into designated containers to maximize aftermarket opportunities and minimize waste.

Accurately label Gaylords, containers, hoppers, totes, barrels, and other designated holding units according to contents.

Maintain safe, clean, and clear aisles and walking surfaces throughout the facility.

Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Retail experience preferred.

Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Ability to communicate effectively while exercising patience, understanding, and good judgment.

Ability to operate a hand truck and pallet jack.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and frequently bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, and move merchandise.

Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds.
