Café Associate

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Café Associate to provide friendly, fast, and accurate service to Café customers. This position is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, specialty drinks, and food items while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The Café Associate supports daily Café operations by delivering excellent customer service, handling transactions, following food safety standards, and assisting with opening and closing responsibilities when serving as the keyholder on duty.

• Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude, maintain eye contact, and provide full attention throughout each transaction.
• Prepare and serve coffee, specialty drinks, and food items while providing fast, accurate customer service.
• Process sales transactions, handle customer payments, and assist customers promptly when serving multiple guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized café by cleaning counters, tables, equipment, washing dishes, and stocking and restocking products and supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
• When serving as the Keyholder on Duty: supervise staff, assign tasks, assist with customer concerns, and ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Basic math, cash handling, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
