Goodwill Columbus is hiring Warehouse Associates to help sort, prepare, and move donated goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you're dependable, enjoy staying active, and take pride in working as part of a team, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Do
- This position also will ride along from various Goodwill Retail sites helping to pick up and drop off items in a Goodwill Box Truck
- Sort, organize, and prepare donated items for processing and shipment
- Load textiles and materials into production equipment
- Move, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse
- Assist with packaging and shipment preparation
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow safety, attendance, and performance standards
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous warehouse or production experience is helpful, but not required
- We welcome candidates who are willing to learn
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and grasping
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with noise and changing temperatures
Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse setting
- Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Work around warehouse equipment and moving materials
