Key Information:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9-hour days with a 7:00 AM start.
  • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
  • Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.

Job Description:

  • Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas.
  • Remove rubble and other debris.
  • Willing to labour outdoors if needed, is a requirement of the position.
  • Assist in the paint booth painting misc. items (sea cans, barricades, etc.)
  • Must be able to be fit tested (comfortable shaving facial hair if needed)
  • Must be able to operate a skid steer and forklift.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience required.
  • CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance 201 are required.
  • Must be able to lift moderately heavy weight.
  • Good organizational skills are required.
  • Pay attention to detail.
  • You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
