Machine Set Up Operator
Location: Chicago, IL
Department: Blow Molding Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time, $26.00 Hourly Rate
Reports To: Blow Molding Group Leader / Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Machine Set Up Operator to join our Blow Molding team. In this role, you will play a key part in setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment that produces high-quality products. What You'll Do
As a Machine Set Up Operator, you will
Set up and change over blow molding machines, including color changes and mold/tooling changes
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs and adjustments to keep production running efficiently
Monitor materials and production processes to ensure product quality standards are met
Support production line operations as needed to maintain workflow and productivity
Complete work order reporting and production documentation in JD Edwards
Communicate production issues, updates, and opportunities for improvement to supervisors and team members
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Support team goals and assist in other duties as assigned
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with manufacturing equipment
Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Dependable work habits and a positive team-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in blow molding operations or related manufacturing environments
Training in Blow Molding Technology
Previous leadership or shift lead experience
Experience directing or coordinating work within a manufacturing team
