Join Our Team as a Compounding Team Lead

Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a motivated and collaborative Compounding Team Lead to help drive operational excellence, ensure product quality, and support a high-performing production team in our Chicago facility.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in chemical compounding, blending, manufacturing, production operations, or team leadership who are looking to grow their careers with a stable and supportive organization.

What You'll Do

As the Compounding Team Lead, you'll play a key role in leading daily operations while remaining actively involved in the compounding process. Responsibilities include:

Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities of the Compounding Department.
Support production schedules by ensuring products are compounded accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Assign work, monitor workflows, and provide guidance to team members throughout each shift.
Verify raw materials, lot numbers, and quantities before production.
Ensure batch records and production documentation are accurate and complete.
Train, coach, and mentor team members on procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, FDA, and company quality standards.
Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to achieve operational goals.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Participate as a member of the internal HazMat Team.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in chemical compounding, blending, manufacturing, or a related production environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing production needs.
Ability to safely lift and move materials according to company guidelines.
Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification.
Previous experience leading teams, training employees, or coordinating production operations.
Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, or production reporting.
