JCM Associates is looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator. If you've got 3-5+ years of experience estimating commercial mechanical/HVAC systems and are familiar with QuoteSoft or other on-screen takeoff software, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Be Doing
- Full quantitative and detailed material take-offs of P-V-F and equipment for budgets, pre-construction proposals, hard bids, negotiated bids, and design-build proposals
- Review of specifications and drawings, and participation in internal pre-bid meetings
- Coordination of the estimating effort on your assigned bids, working directly with the Bid Team
- Accurate documentation and backup files for every estimate, per company standards
- Direct interface with the Bid Team to deliver cost data from your take-offs
- Filling in gaps and using sound judgment when drawings or specs are incomplete
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of take-off experience in commercial P-V-F and mechanical HVAC systems
- Hands-on experience with QuoteSoft or other on-screen takeoff (OST) software
- Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and how they come together
- Comfort with MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability set priorities, and hit bid due dates independently
- Sharp attention to detail and strong communication skills

- $76,000 – $88,000/year, plus performance-based bonuses
