Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Personnel Security Specialist.

Job Description:

Summary: The Personnel Security Specialist will support stakeholders in investigative and administrative actions needed to ensure that all personnel who require access to information or facilities are efficiently and effectively processed for the appropriate security clearance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Administration and maintenance of personnel security systems (DISS, NBIS, eAPP, NP2 Portal, CVS/PIPs, fingerprinting).
  • Security clearance process handling, including initiation, submission, and monitoring.
  • Compliance reporting and security training for personnel.
  • Process Visitor Access Requests (VARs)
  • Review security forms for completion and accuracy. 
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at various levels within the Department and other Federal agencies 
  • Prepare reports and brief to stakeholders status of eAPP submissions
  • Responsible for securing all vaults within secure spaces
  • Provide customer support with regards to visitor assistance

Requirement:

  • HS Diploma, Associate’s Degree Preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience in security administrative support services

Security Requirements: 

  • Active Tier 3 or Secret Clearance

Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of personnel security administration requirements, DCSA clearance procedures, eApp, NBIS and DISS use and management 
  • Communicates clearly orally and in writing 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)

Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk. 

Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
