Service Engineer (SCADA)
About this role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, support, troubleshooting, enhancement and cybersecurity compliance of PSA's SCADA and Energy Management Systems. In addition, you will ensure the reliable operation of electrical monitoring, control, metering, and automation systems across PSA substations and electrical infrastructure. This role will work closely with operations teams, vendors, system integrators and cybersecurity teams to maintain high system availability and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support SCADA and metering systems to ensure reliable operation
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and field device issues
- Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, testing, and commissioning
- Configure SCADA applications, alarms, reports, and data acquisition systems
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders on system enhancements and support
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and operational requirements
- Maintain technical documentation and provide user support and training
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Experience with SCADA platforms eg Ignition, Zenon, MircoScada X, EcoStruxure, Wonderware
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial control systems is preferred
- Willing to work in Tuas Terminals
