We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and manage the financial complexities of our landmark projects.
Position Overview
We are looking for an Experienced Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of professional experience in corporate or construction accounting. This role is central to our operations, focusing on the accounting management of our various corporate entities and development projects. Ideal candidate will ensure precision across a high-volume, multi-entity environment. This position is On-Site.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Entity Oversight: Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close, for numerous corporate and project-specific entities.
- Construction Accounting: Handle job costing, review construction draws, and track project budgets against actuals for high-rise developments.
- Intercompany Management: Reconcile intricate intercompany transactions and manage fund transfers between entities.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports for leadership review.
- Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of workpapers for external tax and audit professionals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of corporate experience. Background in Real Estate is preferred but not required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Software Skills: Experience with Sage Intacct and Yardi a plus. Proficiency in Excel required.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to pivot between multiple projects, process and analyze large data sets, and function in a high-pressure environment.
