Job Summary
Georgica Auto Holdings is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to perform a variety of maintenance, diagnostic, and repair tasks on automotive vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Compensation: $18.00 hourly
Job Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all services performed and parts used.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workshop environment.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair progress, and recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques.
Job Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical).
Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and equipment.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
